	China Red Cross Society (CRCS), has donated items worth $181,688 to Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS) as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two organisations in September last year. 	Beijing: A local college will open Shanghai's first paramedic degree program this fall to ease the city's shortage of emergency medical personnel in ambulances, local media reported on, March 21, ThursdayBecause there has never been a paramedic degree program in Shanghai, ambulances have usually been staffed with trained doctors who have gone through the same seven-year education as other physicians, according to Li Minghua, a trainer at the Shanghai Medical Emergency Center. 	Beijing: The Shanghai metro has sent 25 employees through emergency medical training so they can aid passengers on four of the city's subway lines, local media reported on, March 4, Monday. The training will allow metro staff in some stations to give cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to passengers who pass out on the subway, rather than just wait for an ambulance.
