India: Himachal Pradesh Gov. Plans to Start Air-ambulance for Patients in Tribal Areas
Shimla: Finding it hard to have sufficient deployment of specialist doctors in tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh, the state government has now planned to launch heli-ambulance scheme to airlift patients from tribal areas to other parts of the state with better medical facilities. A proposal to this effect has already been submitted to the Union government and preliminary discussions on the issue have already been held. India: ZHL and AMR Unite to Train to Save Lives through CPR
Bhubaneswar: Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd (ZHL) which runs the Dial ‘108’ & ‘1298’ Ambulance service in states of Kerala, Punjab, Bihar, Odisha, Maharashtra and the American Medical Response (AMR) have united to train close to thousands of people across the above stated states to save lives through CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) in observation of National Emergency Medical Services Week. India: Government to Launch Helpline for Emergency Medical Advice
The Karnataka government on Thursday announced that it will launch a new helpline, 104 Arogya Vahini, for providing free medical advice to citizens who are in dire situations. This will be in addition to the existing 108 helpline. Speaking to media-persons here, Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader said the new helpline will have an exclusive call centre monitored by medical practitioners to provide urgent medical advice. India: Odisha CM Launches 'Dial 108 Emergency Ambulance' Service in Jajpur
Bhubaneshwar: “Dial 108 Emergency Service” under the Oidsha Emergency Medical Ambulance Service (OEMAS) Project was officially launched by Chief Minister of the Odisha, Mr. Naveen Pattnaik at Jajpur on May 27. Chief Minister dedicated a total numbers of 14 ambulances under OEMAS to Jajpur District.The state-wide modern emergency ambulance service was launched in Jajpur in collaboration with an eminent company based in Mumbai, Ziqitza Health Care Ltd. India: Training Course at RIMS
Imphal: The College of Nursing, RIMS will organise a 3-day special training course on emergency care from May 30 at the college premises. During the training course resource persons drawn from medical, nursing staff, technicians, post graduate students and other paramedics will speak and demonstrate to the participants. This is first of its kind. It is expected that the training course will be of immense benefits to the students of College of Nursing, said a statement.
