United Arab Emirates: UAE Top in Night Safety & Emergency Response Global Indices


The UAE has achieved an almost 97 per cent record in establishing a sense of safety and security in the country, in accordance with the UAE 2021 Vision, top officials said on Monday (14 May).\r\nThe Ministry of Interior (MoI) said that it achieved its national agenda indicators, including controlling the crime rate and road accidents per 100,000 population, civil defence indicators for fires and deaths, emergency response rates, police services, and safety and security.

United Arab Emirates: Dubai Ambulance gets 72 Advanced Cardiac Defibrillators


Dubai: Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) has added 72 new advanced defibrillators to its emergency vehicles and units to boost life-saving medical assistance for heart patients.The LifePak 15 cardiac defibrillators introduced are the latest version of the previous LifePak 12 which are used to treat heart attacks and stabilise rapid and irregular heartbeats, DCAS announced.

United Arab Emirates: Private Health Firms in Dubai can now Acquire Ambulance Permits Online


The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services enabling the issuance of approvals for ambulance vehicles operated by private health entities online.According to the Dubai Media Office, the move is a part of RTA’s strategy to step up cooperation with all Dubai Government departments and share information and knowledge in relevant fields.

United Arab Emirates: New First Aid Clinic Opens in Al Ain


A first aid clinic will be open to more than 4,000 Al Ain municipality workers and their families under a new partnership with NMC Specialty Hospital.\r\nUnder the agreement, NMC will provide medical treatments in emergency cases and first aid training workshops to help improve community health care. Educational workshops are planned with lectures to employees focusing on preventative measures and early diagnosis examination campaigns.

United Arab Emirates: Dubai the First City to Provide Emergency Ambulance Service through its Residents


Dubai: Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS), in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation, has developed the ‘Immediate Response’ project under the umbrella of the ‘Dubai 10X’ initiative. The project features an application that utilises Artificial Intelligence to help volunteers identify patients’ emergency cases and guide them through the necessary procedures to help save their lives while waiting for the ambulance, thus transforming every Dubai resident into a potential life saver.
