Abu Dhabi: The Dubai Police and Unified Ambulance Services in Dubai: Dubai organised a practical workshop on first aid for 32 students as part of a summer awareness programme named ‘ambassadors of care’ organised by the Dubai Police’s anti-narcotic department in cooperation with its department of community services. United Arab Emirates: DHA Conducts 393 Training Courses for Its Employees
Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) medical education department organised 393 training programs during the first half of 2013 and more than 11,000 employees benefited from these programmes, according to a top DHA official. Dr Khalil Ibrahim, director of medical education at the DHA said, “The training courses include workshops and conferences in the field of medicine, administration and information technology. United Arab Emirates: Trauma Center Conducts Outreach Educational Program for Non-Trauma Practitioners
Doha: The Trauma Center at Hamad Medical Corporation ( HMC ) is conducting a specially designed Outreach Educational Program for non-trauma practitioners on the care of patients with trauma injuries. The program aims to improve the capacity of general hospitals in outlying areas of the country to manage trauma patients with less severe injuries. United Arab Emirates: KIMS Group Expands Medical Facilities in Bahrain through RBH Medex Medical Centre, Riffa
Manama, Bahrain: The KIMS Group has announced expansion of its operations in Bahrain by acquiring Medex Medical Centre, a dynamic healthcare facility in the Riffa area. The facility, now renamed as RBH Medex, will have access to Royal Bahrain Hospital's specialty doctors and infrastructure, increasing its patient capacity to 150 patients a day in comparison to a mere 17 patients a day earlier. United Arab Emirates: 'Supersize' Ambulance for Obese in Dubai
Dubai: A supersize ambulance to cope with the growing number of obese patients in the emirate has been unveiled by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services. The Dirham 1 million vehicle, the first of its kind here, features a lift gate capable of hoisting 300kg and an extra wide stretcher. The corporation received the ambulance from the Al Habtoor Group on September 3 Thursday as part of the group’s participation in serving the community.
