	Saudi Arabia: Hospitals Rejecting Accident Victims to be Punished
	Public and private hospitals would be punished according to the law if they refuse to accept accident victims, Saudis and expatriates.The warning came from Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, president of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, on December 09Monday. “All hospitals including private hospitals should accept emergency cases,” Prince Faisal said and urged the Health Ministry to make sure all hospitals treat emergency cases, irrespective of their nationality and places of work.

	Manama: During the session of the Shura Council held on December 09, Minister of Shura and Representatives Councils, Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammed Al Fadhel stressed the importance of establishing a center of GCC emergency management. Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammed Al Fadhel said in responding to the questions of the Council’s MPs that the number of states ratified the main system are four represented in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, State of Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Sultanate of Oman. Al-Fadhel highlighted that a Head for the Centre was appointed, and he is Dr. Adnan Mahmoud Al Tamimi from Kingdom of Bahrain.

	Saudi Arabia: Prompt Action Urged in Emergency Cases
	Riyadh: Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah instructed officials to treat emergency cases promptly and follow up on their referral to various facilities. The minister was addressing health officials, including emergency department directors, crisis management managers and health care coordinators in 20 health regions and others who are involved in the administration of these facilities. l-Rabeeah underlined the need for immediate attention to emergency cases and said that mishandling of cases is inexcusable. “We will not allow negligence and will not accept any excuses for not attending to emergency cases,” he noted.&n

	The Saudi Red Crescent Authority took a major step in order to increase the technical knowledge and skills in topics related to Disaster Management and Emergencies.
