Pakistan: Trauma Centre, Blood Bank to be Set Up at Police Hospital


Karachi: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Iqbal Mahmood on April 20 Sunday issued directives for establishing a well-equipped Trauma Centre and a Blood Bank at Police Hospital as early as possible. The directives were issued by the IGP during his surprise visit to Police Hospital here. He also instructed to move a summary for the posting of specialists/consultants immediately in the hospital. Pakistan: Responding to Medical Emergencies: Sindh to get Rescue 1122 Emergency Service Soon


Karachi: Sindh will soon have a Rescue 1122 service and will be able to deal with medical emergencies professionally, the government promised on April 30 Wednesday. Pakistan: Hilal-e-Ahmer Ambulance Service Launched


Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain on May 13 Tuesday launched the Hilal-e-Ahmer Emergency Ambulance Service 1030 for Islamabad. The service will work round-the-clock, with a response time of 7 to 10 minutes. A brainchild of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the initiative has been taken in view of lack of proper ambulatory service in the capital. Speaking on the occasion, President Mamnoon said, the service will prove as a milestone, not only for the organisation but also for Islamabad.
