China: China, US Sign Agreement on Medical Training Program (CPR training and awareness)

China: China Conducts Emergency Response Exercise on Nuclear Accident


China\'s National Nuclear Emergency Response Center has held an exercise on emergency response on nuclear accidents. The exercise, code named Shendun-2015, aimed to simulate the response to a simulated accident in a nuclear plant.\r\nIn dealing the accident, the emergency commanding headquarters gathered experts from 27 accident related departments to discuss a rescue scheme at the Nuclear Emergency Center. China: Top Health Official Calls for Emergency Medical Aid System to Include more People


A top health official on Tuesday (June 30) said health authorities at various levels in China should improve their emergency medical relief systems to cover all those in need.\r\nHospitals should provide medical aid according to relevant standards and regulations to anyone suffering serious diseases who cannot afford medical bills or whose identity is not known at the time of treatment, said Ma Xiaowei, vice-minister in charge of the National Health and Family Planning Commission. China started to establish a nationwide system to provide emergency medical relief to special groups in need in early 2013.
