	Mumbai: After a long wait of three years, the state government will finally roll out 156 specialised ambulances in the first week of February at Nashik, Amravati, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Kolhapur as part of their `1,060 crore project for five years, wherein 937 specialised ambulances will reach any given spot in Maharashtra in 30 minutes, after being alerted on the emergency number '108'. 	New Delhi: “911, what’s your emergency?” How many times have we heard this line in American sitcoms and movies? India may soon get its own 911, one number for all emergencies. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has given its nod to this proposal by the Ministry of Home Affairs on February 5 Wednesday. Under this project, the Department of Information Technology will work with device makers to introduce panic buttons in mobile phones or landline phones that can trigger emergency alarms. 	India: Registry of Snake Bite Victims on the Cards - Tamil Nadu
	Chennai: Last year, at least 300 persons were reported to have died of snake bites in the State, and around 7,000 others treated for the same in government hospitals. Though various wings of the health department collect information on snake bite victims, the State does not have a comprehensive registry to fall back on. Director of public health K. Kulandaisamy said the directorate has proposed to start a registry. 	Mumbai: Railway accident victims can expect faster treatment as Central Railway has decided to demarcate space for ambulance parking at each of its 76 stations in the Mumbai suburban division. Activists and railway victims had criticized the railways for not making arrangements to ferry victims to nearest hospitals in the golden hour period.
