Balikpapan: Balikpapan appointed along with 9 other cities in Indonesia to be a pilot project for the implementation of the application of the emergency telephone line services from the public. An emergency service in line with the emergency call number 911 in United Stateswill be started. It will provide similar services,through emergency call number 112, in Indonesia.

Jakarta: The government will launch a trial of an integrated emergency services number, 112, which will connect to hospitals, fire stations and police stations in 100 cities across the country, in the fourth quarter of this year.\r\n“The number 112 will be able to be dialed free of charge from a mobile phone. As long as you have a signal, you can dial the number and the operator will direct you [from there],” Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara said during a ceremony at the Regional Autonomy Institute in Jakarta on Tuesday (26 April).

Indonesia: Free Ambulance for Pondok Pinang Residents


Jakarta: South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi, declared that ambulance is given on the feedback from the board after Pondok Pinang Urban Village becomes the highest donation collector in South Jakarta.\r\n“Because of that achievement, BAZIS gives ambulance car for the urban village,” he said. According to him, the aid is also based on local resident aspiration who complained about paid ambulance service.
