Sabak Bernam: The Health Ministry, on January 30, approved an allocation of RM1 to the Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Hospital (HTAJ), here for upgrading and to buy medical equipment.
"The ministry also has plans to expand the outpatient clinic and emergency department because the current space cannot cater for the increasing number of patients every day," Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said here, January 30.
Meanwhile, Subramaniam clarified that his statement that health clinics would be open until 10pm to overcome congestion at emergency and trauma department of government hospitals, applied only to Selangor and Federal Territories. |
