Karachi: Industrialists in the Sindh Industrial and Trading Estate (SITE) have called upon the government to ensure steps to improve emergency services.
Their demands, raised during a meeting with Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui on January 27 Monday, also included uninterrupted water supply and upgrading the fire station in the area. The factory owners also called for the provision of at least two water bowsers and a snorkel for the fire station in the industrial area to avoid any disaster situations like the Baldia factory fire. |
