Klang: The Klang Municipal Council (MPK) has formed the Hot Squad, comprising its enforcement unit and various other government agencies to handle any form of natural disasters better.
The Hot Squad is made up of personnel from the council enforcement, the police, Fire and Rescue Services Department, Rela and the Klang district office.
Council president Mohammad Yacob said the council would lead the squad, which was initiated following the state government’s directive to all local authorities to form a 10-men squad, to handle disasters such as floods. |
