Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon Jr. turned over five Nissan Urvan ambulances to the provincial government-run hospitals in Escalante City, Himamaylan City, Calatrava, Isabela and Hinoba-an at rites held at the Capitol Building in Bacolod City yesterday.
The ambulances cost P7.5 million, at P1.5 million each, complete with accessories such as oxygen tank with holder, regulator, dehumidifier with nasal cannula, blinkers, siren and public address system, ambu bag with resuscitator, adult and pedia combination, minor surgical kit, minor first aid wall mounted BP apparatus, medical cabinet, automatic heavy duty stretcher, and stainless I.V. steel hook complying with standard ambulance requirements, a press release from the Capitol said. |
