Karachi: Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh organised a 2-day casualty handling training attended by 31 members of their Emergency Response Team (ERT), the training was facilitated by Federal Civil Defence School. Speaking at the occasion, Instructor of Federal Civil Defence School Arif Moen told that the course covered risk assessment, methods of causality handling, basic firefighting, bomb reconnaissance and ambulance loading, etc.
The training was the part of the PRCS-Sindh and German Red Cross (GRC) long term Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programme which is being implemented in Theta, Badin, Dadu and Karachi. In closing ceremony held on August 22 Thursday, PRCS Sindh Provincial Secretary KanwarWaseem, GRC Programme Coordinator Elmira Ablekeeva and Civil Defence Instructor Arif Moen distributed certificates among participants. |
