Beijing: The incidence of accidental injuries for children is higher in the summer, the Beijing Times reports.
Historically, the seasonal rise in pediatric injury cases in Beijing starts from July. Statistics show that more than 26 percent of deaths in children are caused by accidental injuries, a number that is increasing by 7 to 10 percent every year.
The Beijing Emergency Medical Center recently invited 300 parents and children to learn about safety measures. |
