Medical Response Training Held to Prepare for Major Incidents

The Thai Medical Response to Major incident simulation training (ThaiSim) model has been developed to enhance hospitals’ readiness to deal with emergencies.

“ThaiSim can be applied to all hospitals and situations,” National Institute for Emergency Medicine (NIEM) secretary-general Atchariya Pangma said on Thursday (8 June). He said hospitals in Lampang province had applied ThaiSim to deal with road accidents. In the South, ThaiSim has been used to plan actions in incidents related to drilling platforms.
