Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s Health and Prevention Minister Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais has issued a ministerial decree on the declaration of death which is expected to support the national organ transplantation programme. \r\nThe decree covers 3 main provisions, namely death resulting from cardiac-respiratory arrest; death resulting from complete loss of brain functions; and paediatric brain death guidelines. |
