Vadodara: Around 480 students were trained in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) method in the 3-day programme conducted by the Lifelife Foundation that ended on Thursday (5 May). The organization wants to ensure that Vadodara earns the tag of a \'CPR City\', a concept mooted by Shukanto Das, son of Dr Subroto Das, the CEO and co-founder of Lifeline. \r\n\"Vadodara is working towards becoming a smart city and improved medical care is one of the necessities. Citizens should be aware of the first aid that can help them deal with emergencies. CPR is one such step that increases the survival rate of a cardiac arrest victim,\" said Shukanto, who studies at MSU. |
