To equip every Filipino child with basic knowledge on first aid, Masbate Rep. Scott Davies Lanete has filed a bill mandating all schools to include a course on first aid in the curriculum. \r\n“First aid is a life skill that everyone can and should learn. Teaching children how to handle injuries cannot just prevent worsening of injuries, but it can also save lives,” he said in filing House Bill 6473, citing reported cases of children who were food poisoned or drowned during school-sanctioned activities. |
