Panang: The first AED has been stationed in Komtar’s Level 3 concourse.“When people see someone having a heart attack, they can break the glass to remove the key and unlock the AED. Then follow the instructions on the screen. \r\n“Training will be given to those in charge of taking care of the AED devices and we will regularly hold public training sessions on how to use it,” said Penang Health Committee chairman Dr Afif Bahardin.after the ceremony to launch the AED in Komtar on Wednesday (December 16). \r\nPenang is the first state in Malaysia to install a public AED. |
