Dhaka: Bangladesh Armed Forces and US Army Pacific on August 30 began the sixth civil-military annual disaster preparedness exercise in Dhaka.A wide range of Bangladeshi and international government and non-government organisations will be engaged during the 5-day exercise known as “Pacific Resilience”. \r\nMore than 150 participants are taking part in a phased table-top exercise and 350 will participate in a field training exercise of the Pacific Resilience Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange, says a US embassy press release. |
