Lifeline Express to Stay on Track for Emergencies


Nashik: With 3 medical coaches having mini operation theatres, the Lifeline express will stay put at Nashik Road Railway station during the shahi parvani days to help those in need of medical help.

The Indian Railways had decided to deploy 1 health unit and 3 medical booths, 2 at Nashik Road and 1 at Odha, along with an ambulance at Nashik Road to treat people. The railways will now increase the number of medical booths to 5. Altogether 2 ambulances will be stationed at Nashik Road to ensure timely medical help.
