Dehradun: After completing seven years in the state, the 108 Emergency Ambulance Services is awaiting the procurement of 28 emergency ambulances which would help it get rid of old ambulances. Of these, 10 would be equipped with advance life support system (ALS).
State head of the 108 Emergency Ambulance Services Manish Tinku said tenders had been invited for the ambulances. “Once this process is complete, we replace the 18 old ambulances. Also, the number of ambulances equipped with the advanced life support system would increase,” he said. |
