Pokhara: Doctors at Manipal Medical College in Pokhara halted service and resorted to agitation against the hostile response and manhandling by kin of the deceased, bringing the entire services to a total halt, in Kaski from June 23.
According to Deepak Koirala, pediatrician at the hospital, all health workers from interns to consultants joined the protest seeking security.
Hundreds of service seekers have been left in a lurch due to closure of all medical services provided from OPD to Emergency wards since June 23 morning. |
