The Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPMS), Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar in collaboration with Cardiology department of Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar organised a workshop on "Skill Development and Capacity Building for Basic Life Support (BLS) at Institute of Business and Management Sciences (IBMS) Hayatabad, Peshawar.
On this occasion, KMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Mohammad Hafizullah was the chief guest. He said that the basic purpose of the workshop is the training of the master trainers so that they may be able to train the students of their institutes, according to a press release issued here on June 27. A person train in BLS can save many lives on the spot in case of emergency. He further added that in near future the course will be mandatory for the third-year and fourth-year students of the University. |
