Medical Evacuation Firm's New Jet to Carry VIPs in Style

Bangkok: AC Aviation, a private jet firm linked to Thai politician AnutinCharnvirakul, is expanding its core medical evacuation operations with a VIP charter business.

In supporting the new strategy, the firm recently acquired a Hawker 850XP, a mid-sized twin-engine corporate jet, while preparing a marketing scheme that includes a rebranding as Bangkokjets.

The Hawker, the company's third jet, will be instrumental in branching out from medivac, which constituted the bulk of business over the last two and a half years, and into the fast-growing realm of private jet charters.

"From this year, we want to concentrate more on private charter to diversify and grow our business," Stephen Levesque, general manager of AC Aviation, told the Bangkok Post.
