Islamabad: National Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Network (NHEPRN) on December 09 Monday launched 2 training manuals on disaster management and first aid at a local hotel.
The 2 manuals, including ‘Training Course for Disaster Risk Reduction, Search & Rescue’ and ‘First Aid Disaster Management Training Manual’, are developed by NHEPRN in collaboration with nongovernmental organisation Network for Human and Social Development and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
Dr Samra Mazhar, focal person for the NHEPRN mobile service unit project, said the disaster management manual had five modules on first aid, trauma, burns, casualty and minimum initial service package for reproductive health. |
