A first-aid training center by the Red Cross Society Zhangjiagang branch opened to the public in Zhangjiagang of Jiangsu province on September 14, 2013. It is the first of its kind in the city.
Training equipment at the new center is more complete than previous temporary training centers. Residents are free to choose training times. Ten trainers gave lectures as well as demonstrated and answered questions on knowledge and skills of first-aid concepts, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and injury treatment.
Cai Xian, vice-president of the Red Cross Society Zhangjiagang branch, said that the first Sunday of every month will be opening day. Training will be held twice – 9am-11:30am and 2pm-4:30pm. If there are many people, there will be more opening days. |
