Nashik: The Indian Red Cross Society's Nashik district branch will train nearly 2,500 volunteers to deal with emergencies such as drowning, electrical shock, accidental injuries, suffocation and poisoning during the Simhastha Kumbh mela that will take place in Nashik in 2015.
Office bearers of the society, including Aniruddha Dharmadhikari, Major P M Bhagat (veteran),Sunil Aundhkar and Anand Bhattad, have worked out a plan, which is being discussed with the district collector and city police commissioner. |
