Rawalpindi: The Punjab Emergency Service, 'Rescue 1122', Rawalpindi, started training of rescue staff regarding rescue from height and depth on the directions of 'Rescue 1122' Director General Dr. RizwanNaseer. The purpose of the training course is to enhance professional skills of operational staff to conduct quick rescue operation from high-rise building in case of any emergency or disaster in the Rawalpindi district.
The first training of rescue from height and depth for 2 teams from 2 rescue stations have been conducted at the newly-constructed 6-storey building near Committee Chowk under the supervision of Emergency Officer (Training) DeebaShahnaz. The team of three instructors imparted theoretical knowledge and practical skills about rescue knots, emergency moves and rescue from height and depth. The participants have been evaluated by written test and individual and group practical exercises. |
