Shillong: The South West Khasi Hills disaster management authority organised a one-day programme for differently-abled students and teachers of Lynti Jingkyrmen School at the DC office in Mawkyrwat on 31 August.
\r\nStudents were sensitised on the concept of disaster management, do’s and don’ts during natural calamities like earthquakes, cyclones, floods, lightning and thunderstorms. They were also trained in search and rescue operations, including first aid. |
