Lucknow: \'UP Dial 100\' emergency services has bagged the prestigious Global Icon Award 2017 at Las Vegas.
\r\nRahul Srivastava, a spokesperson from the UP DGP\'s office, said that the UP police had bagged the Global Icon Award 2017 at the annual conference of Hexagon Safety and Infrastructure. \"The award was given by the organisation to the UP police for offering the best emergency services to people of the state through the \'UP Dial 100\' services,\" he added. \'UP Dial 100\' was the only entry from India that bagged this prestigious award. Others who were given awards in different categories include Bayenwerk (Germany), Bell (Canada) and US Marine Corps System Command Virginia, USA). |
