‘Suwa Seriya’ Free Emergency Ambulance service, which was set up with the assistance of the Government of India was extended to Gampaha District yesterday. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Gampaha Divisional Secretariat.
The emergency ambulance service was initially launched at the Galle Face Green in Colombo on 28th July. During the occasion in Gampaha 16 ambulances were handed over to Gampaha district. Received ambulances will be assigned to district police stations and can be requested by dialling 1990 number in the near future. |
