Bengaluru: The presence of a meagre two ambulances on the Bengaluru-Hosur section of National Highway 7 proved fatal for a senior citizen on Friday (20 May) night, but the situation is no different on other highways. There are only 12 ambulances in five highways touching Bengaluru. \r\nThe Bengaluru-Hosur section has two ambulances (one of which had broken down on Friday 20 May). The Bengaluru-Anantapur section of NH 7 too has only two ambulances. The Nelamangala-Hassan section has four ambulances.
