Kangra: The Dr Rajendra Prasad Govt Medical College (DRPGMC) at Tanda has been selected for setting up a National Emergency Skills Centre and Rs 1 crore has been released as first instalment by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to the hospital for this project. \r\nDRPGMC Principal Dr Anil Chauhan said on 19th May the Institution was one of the five colleges in the entire country that had been selected for setting up such centres. He said a separate wing would be built for running the skills centre. Dr Chauhan said master trainers from the Departments of Medicine, Surgery, and Anaesthesia would be trained in Delhi in June this year to impart training to doctors, nurses, paramedics and even laymen. |
