Police Control Rooms to be Linked with 108 Ambulance Control Room in M P

Indore: Taking a clue from recently introduced system in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh will soon have Central Police Control Room. To generate quick response, the control room will work on concept similar to the 108 ambulance service. A central control room will be established in Bhopal with the help of ambulance service initiators. The home minister Umashankar Gupta has discussed about the proposal with senior police officials. The minister has directed to send a team of police officials to Hyderabad to understand the system. He has also asked to make a detailed report about the system after taking views of police station incharge, people's representatives and other organisation. The system was introduced in Andhra Pradesh in April 2013 after the Union government accredited the project under National Police Mission.
