Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority has formed a central emergencies and disasters committee which will develop processes, policies and procedures to effectively tackle disasters. The multi-disciplinary committee will be headed by Dr Zeyad Al Rais, head of intensive care section at Rashid Hospital. \r\nHumaid Al Qatami, the chairman of the board at DHA said the team will prepare internal emergency and disaster plans for the DHA’s hospitals and healthcare centres. In addition, they will also prepare an emergency plan for epidemic and infectious diseases. |
