Work to Build Trauma Center in Timargara Started


Timargara: The foundation stone of the first ever Burn and Trauma Center in Dir Lower and second of its kind in Pakistan was laid down at the district head quarter hospital Timergara on June 01 Saturday. The newly elected member provincial assembly advocate Muzafar Syed formally inaugurated the project which would be completed within the span of six months with an estimated cost of Rs. 75 million.

A German donor agency, the FES is financing this project. Elders of the area, doctors and paramedical staff of the hospital were present on the occasion. Briefing the MPA, medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Bashirud Din Khilji said the burn and trauma center would be the second one in Pakistan after the one in Karian Punjab.

The law maker warned doctors and para-medical staff of the hospital to avoid negligence and laziness during their duties and provide every possible facility to poor patients of the area.
