Physician to call before referring patient to the Trauma Centre


Lucknow: Now at Lohia Hospital and Institute, serious patients will be referred to the trauma center, only when there are empty beds. When beds are not free, the referred patients do not get the right treatmentat the trauma center. To avoid such situations, Kejiamayu Lohia Hospital and Institute sent a letter to the administration asking them to check whether there are empty beds before sending the patient to the trauma center.

Maximum number ofpatientsinjuredin road accidents or in other seriouscondition are moved to Lohia hospital.When the situation gets out of control,the doctor immediately refersthe patient to the trauma center, but they do not confirm whether the trauma patient will be able to get a bed or not.
