Beijing to Unify Ambulance Schedule

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning announced that Beijing will start using a unified, citywide scheduling system for ambulances by the end of June, the Beijing Morning Post reported.

The Beijing Emergency Medical Center will manage the schedules for all ambulances to shorten response time after a 120 medical emergency call is made, and to better deploy medical resources by breaking the thresholds between different districts and counties. Secondary scheduling in each district and county will be cancelled.
