Navi Mumbai: Over 800 accidents in the past decade has prompted authorities to come up with a trauma care centre in Uran taluka. JNPT has already floated a tender to appoint a contractor and the hospital will come up in a year, said Bhushan Patil, a JNPT trustee. \r\n
The centre is an outcome of a long struggle by the locals, JNPT trade unions and several social organizations, said activists.
