Snake Antivenom Crisis Peaks in Kailali


Dhangadhi: As the government has not been able to provide sufficient amount of snake antivenom vaccines to health institutions in Kailali, acute shortage of the vaccines is impeding efforts to save lives in the district where over half of those bitten by deadly snakes have already lost their lives.

With the acute shortage of snake antivenom, there are slim chances of saving lives of those bitten by snakes in the district, doctors said.
