This presentation discusses background of National Trauma System, Registry System for data collection for prehospital, inhospital and trauma outcomes. It is a web based registry with some findings from registry data such as mortality rate in medical centers v/s general hospitals, analysis for cross-district EMS usage which results in identiication of bottle neck areas and betture resource utilization. It envisages that such registry will pave the way for improved quality, accountability and better utilization of resources.
