This presentation is implemenation of Trauma Registry in Korea in colloboration with University of Arizona under PATOS program "Korea-Arizona Trauma Summit". It shows that by systematically collecting trauma data and analysing it, the outcome of trauma cases canbe significantly impoved. Without such data, it is not possible to have cost effective trauma care systems. The presentation identifies data elements, nodal agencies responsible for data collection, evaluation of trauma outcome and establish corelation with environmental conditions/parameters and trauma care administered. The presentation also identifies 10 nodal agencies whose performance can be measured from the registry data. The system recomends integration of data from different sources for analysis purpose.
It is a good presentation for understaning Trauma Registry Concepts.
