Luis Campos Jr. wants to upgrade the country’s 22,000 fire-fighters into certified paramedics to boost the country’s preparedness and capability in dealing with medical emergencies. \r\nThe bill mandates the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to designate at least one uniformed officer who shall act as a paramedic, and who shall supervise other fire-fighters in responding to medical emergencies.
