V-IIT Student Develops Software for Emergency Medical Services

Pune: Soon, medical history and the contact details of an individual will just be just a scan awayPrasad Seth, final-year engineering student of the Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, in association with general physician Shishir Joshi has developed a software entailing quick response (QR) code which when scanned will give out the medical history and contact details of an individual.

The software, called the \'Health Scan Card\', works without the internet. \"It will come in handy during cases of emergencies,\" said Seth.
